Our congregation was reorganized in 1886.
Church Service at 3PM with Abraham Faugstad, Pastor of King of Grace Lutheran Church, Waukon

And at 4PM the presentation of: The life of Elisabeth Koren
Through Elisabeth’s diary and other writings. Of special focus will be the time from her wedding in Norway through the birth of her first child in Iowa. Becky DeGarmeaux is the Director of Programming at the Evangelical Lutheran Synod’s Ottesen Museum where she promotes the history of the ELS, its congregations and people. She lived in Northeast Iowa from 1984-1995 where she first learned about Elisabeth Koren and her diary.
