
The Landing Market, Decorah, is hosting a series of events to coincide with the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games Feb. 6-22. Events during the week and the weekends during the Olympics will include games, food and drink specials, and camaraderie for people of all ages.
For Anyone
- Fri., Feb. 6, 1 pm (live) and 7 pm (replay), Olympics Opening Ceremony Watch Party & Bingo. Participants will receive a bingo card to play while watching the opening ceremony. Anyone who gets Bingo will receive a FREE Olympic Gold Medal Winner (alcoholic drink) or a boba (non-alcoholic) from The Buzz. They can also enter a contest to guess how many medals the US will win during the games for a chance at a $25 gift card to The Landing, with the winner announced at the end of the games.
- Sat., Feb. 14, 2- 8 pm. “Show the USA Some Love” Olympics Watch Party. Guests who wear something red get hot chocolate (with or without alcohol) from The Buzz at half-price and can enter a drawing for a bottle of wine and chocolates. Luther students with ID who wear red get BOGO of everything on The Buzz or Justin’s menus all day. They can also take their picture on the “medal stand.”
- Sat., Feb. 21, 2- 8 pm. “Go Norway! “Olympics Watch Party. Those who wear a Norwegian sweater get our Olympic Gold Medal Winner (alcoholic drink) or a boba half price. Anyone wearing an official Norwegian Olympics Team sweater from any year will get a $15 gift card to The Landing. Free popcorn will be offered.
For Adults
- Thur., Feb. 12, 5:30-7 Adult Recess with Decorah Parks & Rec – Winter Games Night. Participants will enjoy winter puzzles, board games, word searches and Mad Libs with an Olympic theme. If they wear a Norwegian sweater, they get a coupon for one FREE item at Justin’s or The Buzz (up to $10).
For Families
- Tues., Feb. 10, 5-8 pm. Pizza & Puzzling for Families. River Road pizza will be for sale. Families can put together an Olympics-themed puzzle while dining.
- Sat., Feb. 21, 9-11 am. Silly Saturday for Families. Youngsters can make a gold medal to take home and have their picture on the medal stand. They can also vote for their favorite Boba (strawberry, cherry, mango) and get one FREE at The Buzz.
