Hi! I was raised all over the country, Air Force brat, and proud of it! I went to High School in Colorado Springs where I met my husband. He is an Iowa boy and we ended up here! I have 2 children, Steven is 24; lives in the Twin Cities; Diana is 20; lives in Cedar Rapids.

My radio experience started at KGCI in Grundy Center back in the 80’s. I started out working the computer and eventually became the morning show personality. I was hooked.

We moved to Decorah in 1994, just as KVIK was getting ready to go on the air. I started out filling in for Patty in the mornings, hey, I use to do it for free!! Eventually, Les started letting me fill in for him and he gave me my own special time on Tuesday afternoon!

On March first of 2005 I was promoted to News Director. That was an exciting day!! So now I come in at 5:30 every morning and bring you news of the area along with a little state information. I also play music for you from 9 until 11 every morning. I enjoy spending our time together! Thanks for visiting our website. Let us hear from you!!

I was born and raised in the Spring Grove, MN – but recently bought a house in Hesper-which means I am officially and Iowan. I grew up a BIG talker and it is just awesome to have a job where I can TALK for a living!

I have a beautiful daughter, who is my pride and joy. She is a super fun kid –who loves going with me to the races. We are both big dirt track fans and also like to catch NASCAR races whenever we’re home on the weekends! We spend a lot of time in the winter watching football – I got her started very early but haven’t been able to convince her she should be a Broncos fan (she cheers for the Steelers!).

I absolutely love my job and am so grateful to my “station family” for putting up with me. Listen in Monday through Friday from 11-2- call me with your request from the 70's and 80's. I love to get your e-mail and calls! Keep up the good work!

I was born in Cresco, but grew up in Osage. Since then, I’ve been all over it seems! Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Minneapolis, Decorah, Faribault, Cresco, and Mason City! But for most of the last 15 years, NE Iowa has been my home. My radio career started in Waverly, IA in 1994… Then brought me to Decorah for about 3 ½ years, then to Faribault, MN… I was out of the business for a few years & made Cresco my home where I worked for the local lumber yard, & then spent a year in Mason City. In 2008 I returned to Decorah & the radio business!

First and foremost, I LOVE music! ALL kinds. From classical to heavy metal. But I really love the classics. Which is why I was thrilled to come to KVIK and help bring great music to the tri-state listening area! In addition to being on the radio, I also perform in a local band, 2nd Hand. We play classic rock and pop songs, as well as some newer stuff too. Hope you will check us out when you get the chance! KVIK and the band keep me pretty busy, but I manage to enjoy some other hobbies as well. The occasional golf game, NFL Football (Go Dolphins!), and watching movies, as well as spending as much time as possible with my beautiful wife & my three lovely step children!
